SubhanAllah this is so relevant to my current situation. You addressed so many of the things I've been grappling with: when relationships end without clarity or a conversation, the mind trying to make sense of it, the lingering hope that the person might return...

I think modern life and social media make this a little harder because often the possibility of reconnecting with someone is just a tap away. It's hard to come to a true sense of closure. It takes time for the heart to accept. Thank you deeply for this piece. It really meant a lot to me in this season of life.

In the context of missing someone who has walked a different path, I resonate with having to catch myself mid mental replay. Trying to step back from it and telling myself not to engage in the recap, It takes a lot of work.
